Dear e-drugger,
Somenoe know any tradename of emetine, an an amebicide indecated to treat
fulminating amebic dysentery and amebic hepatitis? I need to know the
tradename, the manufacturer and the country where it is marketed.

[This type of questions can best be answered by looking it up in Martindale,
The Extra Pharmacopeia, 31 edition, Pharmaceutical Press, UK.
It is in english, expensive, but I think still a MUST for every drug
info centre.
Emetine was (acc 30th ed) is in the Brazilian Pharmacopeia,
but is not listed in the 31st ed for Brazil. It has a USP XXIII listing,
but otherwise no single preparations are listed. Only combinations are
listed for France, Austria, France and Canada.
Anybody a suggestion where to buy emetine HCl injections?
