Yes fexofenadine is an OTC product in Canada. Many of the anti-
histamines on the Canadian market are OTCs. Terfenadine and
astemizole were both OTCs until the reports of cardiac problems
started surfacing. To my knowledge there have not been any serious
adverse events associated with fexofenadine. It does not have the same
potential for cardiac problems as terfenadine does.
