Hello everyone

A recent systematic review by Dave Wilkinson published in the 
Cochrane Library indicates clear benefit from INH prophylaxis in 
terms of TB incidence and mortality in PPD positives with HIV.  It is 
not yet clear from existing randomised trials whether a similar 
benefit applies to PPD negative cases.    

Each country needs to decide whether it can afford to give INH 
to all its HIV PPD positives.  The evidence, however, seems 
compelling.
