E-DRUG Demazin Syrup Response to Ian Roberts
Phenylephrine is included in many oral cold remedies (e.g.,
'Lemsip'in the UK ) usually at a dose of 10 mg. This is the kind of
illogical combination which many doctors and pharmacists in the UK
have been trying to discourage for years. However, these remedies
are popular with patients and are often heavily advertised. Don't
know enough about parabens to comment but the concentration of
alcohol sounds worryingly high for a children's medicine. Might
even generate some abuse potential.
