I do not think that the E-drug forum is a suitable medium to promote
individual drugs - with the possible exception of emergency situations
or certain drugs for tropical diseases where information is difficult to
obtain. Dipyrone is an old story and we don't want a repeat performance.
In addition, I know that the Turkish MoH has the greatest difficulty in
initiating and maintaining an adverse drug reaction system; what is
there is understaffed. It is the old fallacy that what the physician
doesn't see doesn't exist. That is different from scientific evidence.
If the Turkish evidence is good enough we will certainly welcome a
publication in the European Journal of Pharmacology - if not, forget
about it.
