POSITION: SCHOOL HEALTH AND NUTRITION ASSOCIATE
LOCATION: MALAWI
OVERVIEW:
The School Health and Nutrition Associate will work directly with the
Malawi School Health Coordinator, other members of the SC team, and
the government partners, all of whom are directly involved in the im-
plementation of the Mangochi program. The associate would provide on-
the-spot technical assistance and guidance in all aspects of the pro-
gram. In addition to helping to facilitate the operation of the pro-
gram, the associate would be responsible for raising the capacity of
local staff and counterparts via the hand-in-hand implementation of
this program as well as through special training activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
Masters Degree in nutrition or public health, preferably with at
least one year of experience in programs in developing countries. Ex-
perience in specific school health and nutrition strategies includ-
ing: micronutrients, parasite treatment and IEC a plus. Experience in
training and program monitoring and evaluation is also preferred.
Able to relocate to Malawi. Please forward salary requirements and
