AFRO-NETS> Mozambique disaster, where do we stand? (7)
Mozambique disaster, where do we stand? (7)
-------------------------------------------
Dear Arlyene Beeche:
I believe that in my message I was straight in pointing out those ul-
timately responsible for the welfare of the people in these coun-
tries: Mozambique President, travelling at a time he should have
stayed home. President Mugabe whose generals are using military heli-
copters to dig for diamonds in the DR of Congo instead of saving
lives [see criticism is from Zimbabwe]. If I remember, I asked the
question being raised in the media and by Ed Marek's NCN on what is
being done in the West.
Nobody should feel uncomfortable either for speaking, writing or for
answering. This is not about Africans or Asians. This is a world cri-
sis. The idea of a listserv is to create a community, a network of
ideas, resources, information and knowledge. Members on this list
have become one "country". At this time, we're all accountable and
answerable to the people of Mozambique, of Zimbabwe, Botswana, and
South Africa.
Thank you very much for your feedback.
