I wanted to let you know about a conference, which I am involved in.
It is the first International Health Geographics Conference. We are
planning it for Aug/Sep. 1998 in Baltimore, Maryland, and as this is
the first major conference focusing on Geographic Information Systems
(GIS) in health, we would like participation from the maximum number
of interested agencies and individuals. We also welcome suggestions
for paper topics, offers to form discussion groups and other input.
This is just an advance preview; we will be sending out fuller infor-
mation later this year.
Please feel free to contact me with questions. If you could also pass
this on to other interested parties, I would appreciate it.
